If a target is inside a box as it is generated, it counts as a hit. Melee hitboxes function by generating several boxes when the item is used. Some of them also function as utilities, usually a speed boost. Melee weapons always appear in the first slot of your inventory, and are used at close range and typically feature high damage output compared to ranged weapons. Items that can be obtained in public servers without any VIP commands will be listed here. A thing to note is that the agreement with the RNG gods gamepass does NOT increase chances of "good items". Depending on random chance, you may get good weapon combos or synergies. Melees are sorted into the first slot of the hotbar, ranged weapons on the second, and miscellaneous items on the third. Items fall into 3 main types Melee, Ranged, and Miscellaneous. I do prefer the normal server maybe because it I can loging with Steam and if I were to put any money in the game, I would rather pay the normal server than a private server which may shut down any day (although it has been up and running for years).Proceed with caution if you're going to edit these kinds of pages, billy. The only coolest difference I found between both is that in the private your first character gets a 120-slog bag, but if you manage your inventory wiseley, it does not feel bad in the normal server, I have 40 slots and using half at much. Lag wise, both are the same (I am located in the USA), money wise, I am not sure about how the donation option in the private server differs to the AP in the normal server, I would not either donate or buy AP since most of the things you can get with LP in both servers or just by questing / farming. I am not a pro gamer of this game, but so far I cannot do a distinction. I thought the 2X loot drop rate in the private was what was making me get OP gear, but although in the normal server is not as frequent, you also get OP gear. I hope this is not late (maybe just 1 year), I just wanted to say I have been playing both the private server and the NA server and both seem quite the same. I'm just curious to whether or not I should play on NA servers published by Aeria or are other servers a better/more-stable deal overall. Then again, I would guess it probably won't differ by all that much considering it's Aus we're talking about here. Or is going into other versions such as the Taiwan/HK/JP etc version a better choice? Anyone know?Īlso ping wise, since I'm physically located on Australia East Coast, is playing on Asian servers gonna be a big trouble ping-wise? Would be nice if there is another player who's located in Aus who knows about this here, but hey, it's anyone's pitch. So I've been looking to give this game a shot, but then there is the extreme negative press all over the net where many people go out of their way to drive others into the private servers rather than supporting the I guess "international" version of this game (I mean, isn't private servers illegal or something?) due to claims of Aeria doing bad PR/practices or things to do with lagging releases etc, and now I am really not sure if I should start this game here.
